A Tip For Online Sellers Who Are Constantly On The Lookout For Winning Products

I see a lot of people on my personal news feed doing dropshipping and selling online.

From what I understand, they basically do research on trending products, source it from somewhere, put it on their eCommerce store, sell it with the help of Facebook ads and ship them out.

The business model is not entirely new because it’s still the concept of buying and selling for a profit but it’s adapted with the digital world.

And it’s definitely making people money kasi it’s an effective business model. That’s why it’s been standing the test of time.

But one feedback I got from someone who I understand to be an authority in this space locally is that despite product research, it’s still a hit or miss.

Which is why my recommendation is to not focus on finding the “winning product” but instead focus on serving the “winning audience”.

Here’s what I mean.

So for most dropshipping businesses I see locally, it’s a cycle: Product research, import then sell to a new audience.

Then same process for a new product to find a new audience.

Then same process for another new product for another new audience.

And so on and so forth.

But if you focus on serving an audience instead of a product, here’s what it will look like.

Audience research -> find out what they actually want -> Import -> Sell.

Then ask your EXISTING customers how else you can serve them and provide that.

Think about it.

On a buyers standpoint, aren’t you more likely to do repeat business with someone you trust and has proven themselves vs trying someone new?

Like aminin niyo, when Mcdo came out with the Rice Burger, tinry natin siya kasi Mcdo yun eh 🤣🤣🤣

Kaya uso sa atin yung “suki” mentality.

On a seller’s standpoint, it’s much easier to sell to people who have bought from you before. It’s also cheaper since you’ve already incurred the cost to acquire your customers so selling to them will only increase their value.

Then on an FB Advertiser’s standpoint, you’re not confusing your FB pixel because may specific profile yung website traffic mo and the buyer profile

To be clear, I’m not hating on what’s the usual practice now. Like I said, it’s effective and it’s profitable.

This is just a tip or another way to look at the business model which i can tell you is proven to be effective, profitable and less strenuous for the business owner and his/her wallet
