Thinking Outside The Box

Thinking Outside The Box

Have you ever seen a mime perform?

Have you ever seen a mime perform?

Ako, I haven’t. I only know what TV and Movies show.

One thing they’re always know for is their act of being trapped in a box.

Interesting, no?

We obviously know that there is no box but mimes make it so convincing.

So convincing that their audience may even believe that there IS a box.

While they do it for entertainment, it’s sad to see that there are people in our lives who are being mimes.

They trap themselves in their imaginary boxes.

And the sadder part is that their belief is so strong, that they make other people believe that a box DOES exist, making others trap themselves in their own imaginary boxes.

I can honestly say that not only have I been a victim of mimes, I have been a mime to others as well.

I’ve had moments where I told myself that I am limited to the confines of my own beliefs making other people believe the same for themselves.

It’s hard, but I’ve slowly been breaking out of my imaginary box.

And the most basic thing that has helped me is to remind myself that there is no box.

It’s an effort but I remind myself everyday that I am limitless.

Because I am. We all are.

And at the end of the day, being limitless is not a status you achieve. It’s something you choose to be.

so as the workweek ends, I’d love for you to fill in the blanks in the comments below:
