Should You Run Facebook Ads For Your Business?
I love Facebook ads. But as much as I would love to say yes to this question, I have to be honest and say that it depends.
To answer this question, I would pose another question: Is your business currently profitable?
If the answer is no, then I would advise against Facebook ads for the timebeing.
Because having pitched to different business owners, here’s one thing I noticed: there is a significant percentage of business owners who have yet to be consistently profitable who want to run Facebook ads in the hopes that it will be what will save their business.
Ladies and Gentlemen, that’s not how it works.
Think of Facebook ads as gas you would put in car, which would represent your business.
If your car is efficient, the gas will help you reach your destination quicker.
If your car is broken down and unmaintained, chances are it’s not burning your fuel efficiently and it ends up costing more for poorer performance.
If your business has proven systems to generate awareness, leads, customers and sales, then running Facebook ads would definitely amplify that.
But if you haven’t figured it out, don’t rely on ads to save your business.
It’s not a magic bullet.
If your product or service sucks, fix that first.
Don’t pour money into something that doesn’t work.
