Selling is fun 🙂
Back when I was working in a hotel, I would never have thought I would be saying that sentence. My former co-workers know that I hated selling.
But it is. and if you’re in the business of selling whether it’s your job or your business, here’s a quick tip (among many many tips out there).
When selling a product, we don’t actually sell the actual product.
Initial instinct will tell us to sell the features.
Most sales trainings and coaches will tell you to sell the benefits.
A friend who’s a very smart and skilled marketer recently shared to sell the emotions.
And I submit to you another tip:
Sell what your customers actually want.
I belong to Facebook groups of Facebook advertisers around the world and someone recently asked how other marketers in the group got their clients.
Here’s what I said:
“Don’t offer them FB ads chances are, your clients aren’t waking up in the middle of the night saying “I need Facebook ads”
What do they really want?
Instead of offering FB ads management, offer something they want like more customers for example offer to provide more customers to your potential clients and people will listen then use FB ads as the medium to deliver that
What do your customers really want?
Offer that, and just use your product or service to deliver that.
