Even I have my own free e-book. But I’m not promoting it here.

But here’s my question.

Out of all the e-books you’ve personally requested for and downloaded, how many have you read?

People like offering e-books as a lead magnet to get our e-mail addresses because other people like downloading e-books.

BUT NOT READING THEM.

Let me be clear, having free giveaways as a form of generating leads works.

I recommend it all the time!

What I am recommending is turning it into something more consumable and more compelling.

You don’t need to come up with something new.

Just change it and watch your conversion rates fly! (assuming you have a good offer, good copy and good targeting).
