IS HAVING A HIGH COST PER CLICK BAD?
No, a high cost per click is not necessarily bad
This is just my opinion based on how I understand Facebook ads.
Having a high cost per click means that there are a lot of other advertisers in the space. You are all bidding for the attention of the same audience.
So if you have a high cost per click, it doesn’t always mean that your ad or your offer sucks. But it’s still good to review it.
If you’re looking to see whether you’re targeting the right audience with the right ad or the right offer, what you want to look at are clickthrough rates and conversion rates.
Clickthrough rates tell you how many people click on your ad vs the number of people who see it And conversion rates tell you how many people take action on your offer vs the number of people who click and see your offer
Make sure that when you make optimization decisions on your ad campaigns, you are basing them on the right metrics
