Exclusion Targeting: What Is It and What Not To Do

Exclusion Targeting: What Is It and What Not To Do

Exclusion Targeting

Are you familiar with exclusion targeting?

Let me rephrase the question.

What’s worse than a “Buy me! Buy me! Buy me!” type of ad?

One of the things I tend to say a lot in terms of advertising on Facebook is how I do not like advertisers who promote and push a product or service and shove it up my face without providing anything of value to me.

Hello, pa-beer ka muna at least! Then talk to me.

Pero for me, something more annoying is and advertiser pushing you his offer AFTER you already took action!

Don’t be that guy!

Make sure to always, always exclude people in your targeting.

If you’re asking people to like your page, use exclusion to exclude people who already like your page.

When you’re asking people to download your free guide, exclude people who already download your guide.

If you’re asking people to buy, exclude people who already bought that product.

It’s a small thing, but can help your business relationship with your audience.
