Do You Call Your Customers To Take Action?

This is not my story. I heard it somewhere but I can’t remember where.

Two Americans (let’s call them Nathan and Lucas) in the USA who had been friends for the longest time met for coffee one afternoon.

After their chat, they exited the cafe together.

Outside was a Chinese couple who were lost. They tried to ask for help.

Unfortunately, the tourists did not speak English very well.

To Nathan’s surprise, his friend Lucas, whom he’s known all his life, suddenly spoke to the couple in fluent Chinese!

After the couple left filled with gratitude from Lucas’ assistance, Nathan shouted “You never told me that you knew how to speak Chinese!”

Then Lucas said,

“You never asked.”
