How Long Should My Post/Video Be?
Facebook is a social media platform.
So before you go out and sell sell sell, build that relationship first with your audience and potential customers.
A great way to do it is through content.
Providing valuable content that’s relevant to your audiences helps get them to know you, like you and eventually trust you.
But over the past few weeks, I’ve had a few comments & questions regarding the length of content.
“Shorten it. People’s attention spans are short”
“Do people really consume hour long videos?”
But for me, at the end of the day, it’s not really solely about the length of the content.
It’s all about relevance.
The same person who can’t sit through a 2-minute video about E-mail Marketing can be the same person who can sit through a 2-hour live masterclass on Instagram Marketing.
The same person who always skips Youtube videos after 5 seconds can also binge watch one whole season of One Tree Hill in one Saturday.
So don’t worry about the length of whatever you’re writing, recording or shooting.
Your concern should be being relevant and providing value to your audience.
