Facebook Ads are not just for selling. They can also be used to educate and still make a profit.

Are you covered for critical illnesses?

I think I was asked about this by a friend and 2 things came to mind.

1) I don’t know if I am, I assume I am.

2) What are critical illnesses?

Yeah so it wasn’t as no-brainer to me as it might be for a lot of people so I’m grateful to have a knowledgeable friend to inform me about it.

I wonder how much more people don’t know what it is.

The reason why I ask is because I see ads now for insurance that say they cover critical illnesses.

That’s good. But I wonder, how many of the people who see this ad are like me?

People who don’t know what critical illnesses are. And because they don’t know, they just ignore the ad.

This is the importance of talking to your audience based on what they know.

It would be difficult to sell something with a unique-selling proposition if they don’t know what that is or why it’s relevant.

You can’t sell me a laptop by impressing me with stuff like RAM, processors, and other shit I don’t know or care about.

But if you tell me what they are and tell me why it’s important to me (and my personal goals for buying the laptop, which i can share with you if you ask), then your RAM and processor talk would make sense and would sell me on your product.

Talk to people where they are.

If they’re not ready to be sold to, do not push or rush it.

Bring them there by educating them.
